Fastner and Larson
Fastner and Larson is an art team consisting of Steve Fastner (airbrush artist) and Rich Larson (penciler). Rich starts the job by doing a tight pencil drawing, which Steve paints over with an airbrush. Fastner and Larson are best known for the Marvel Super Hero Portfolios they did in the 1980s. They have since done many comic book and paperback covers, such as the sci-fi series Bill the Galactic Hero, Interplanetary Spy, Melvinge of the Megaverse, and others. They have also done album cover and T-shirt art, most recently for the band Midnight Hellion.
Fastner and Larson are also known for doing a series of fantasy pin-up art books for SQP Productions, the most recent book being titled, Devil's Playground.
