Frederick Melo
Frederick Melo is a Boston-bred journalist, writer, and lifelong comic book fan. He has been based in St. Paul, Minnesota, since 2005. A former homicide reporter, he currently writes about city politics, municipal planning, zoning, and transportation for the St. Paul Pioneer Press.
Fred Melo's Supervillains, his three-part, 33-page pandemic project, was inspired in part by the urban riots of 2020 and the challenge of being a father to two small children during a public health crisis. All three parts are available online for free perusal on the website Comic Fury.
