Gordon Purcell
Gordon Purcell is a stalwart artist in the field of comic books. He started working in comics in the late 1980s, gaining attention through DC Comics' Bonus Book program (in Flash #12, May 1988). In the ensuing years he has worked on a wide array of titles. The most fruitful of those are licensed media-related books such as Star Trek, Star Trek: The Next Generation, The X-Files, Xena: Warrior Princess, Lost In Space, and Godzilla.
Gordon credits his realistic art style to being influenced by artists such as Gil Kane, Jim Aparo, Neal Adams, Jerry Ordway, Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez, and Dick Giordano.
Gordon also has a fondness for trivia and game shows. He has been a contestant on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? (2005) and Jeopardy! (2010). He has also had two daily trivia appearances on the LIVE show with Kelly Ripa and her co-hosts, Michael Strahan (2014) and Ryan Seacrest (2019).
